My Rheumatologist had said at my appointment in April that she would take me off the Hydroxocholoroquine at the next visit but she had decided to leave alone just now. I noticed in the new Nras magazine that there was a piece on " Withdrawal of disease modifying drugs" I was taken off of Sulphazalazine a year past last August and she was pleased there was no change. But she has decided to leave things as they are and reading that I now understand why. I was watched carefully on withdrawal of the Sulph, and told to re start should any flares occur but fortunately none did. I was really pleased with my appointment and relieved too. Take care all Lorna x
